It's no secret that we endorse Advocare Nutritional Products at the gym.  Everyone buys an energy or electrolyte drink, a protein shake or bar, etc.  We recommend AdvoCare because we believe they are the best money can buy. We have many discussions on nutrition at the gym and we find that most people know what they "should" be eating, it's really a matter of tweaking a few things.  The fact is nutrition or how we "fuel" the body is the most important step in healthy living and we have to have a plan.  Let 's start with facts that most of you already know... 

  • breakfast is the most important meal of the day
  • eating 3 meals plus 2 snacks is recommended
  • limiting breads, pasta's, sugar and white stuff is helpful in weight management
Now take a look at facts you may not know...
  • combine  protein,  carbohydrates &  fats into every meal & snack
  • fruits & vegetables are healthy carbohydrates
  • we need fats...the good ones like olive oil, nuts and avocado's
Optimal fuel throughout the day, keeps your blood sugar levels happy and thus your metabolism has a chance to stabilize your weight.

Stay consistent, stay active and remember; nutrition takes planning!
